Using intense pulsed light to stimulate collagen and elastin deep within the dermis. Revealing softer, smoother skin. Intense pulsed light improves skin texture and tone while effectively improving sun damage/pigmentation, lines & wrinkles, red veins and acne.
IPL for anti-ageing
Intense pulsed light is absorbed by certain structures within the skin. This stimulates cells in the body called fibroblasts to produce more collagen. The new collagen moves outwards to the skin’s surface resulting in a smoother texture, smaller pore size and reduced fine lines and wrinkles.

IPL for sun damage & pigmentation
Intense Pulsed Light for pigmentation correction effectively fades or removes age spots, sun spots and areas of discoloration. Skin tone, texture and radiance is greatly improved. IPL Skin Pigmentation treatments work by transmitting heat from the IPL light through to the pigmented skin areas. The intense pulsed light is attracted to dark pigmentation, effectively drawing the discoloration to the surface of the skin, allowing the dermis to begin the healing process of correcting the blemishes.

IPL for vein removal
Intense pulsed light heats the blood vessels to reduce the size. Some disappear straight away while some will change colour, dissolve and be reabsorbed into the body.
IPL is applied to the feeder part of the vein/capillaries. This will constrict the capillary and coagulate the blood within the vessel. The body will then break this down and re absorb via the lymphatic system. IPL uses a range of different wavelengths to target multiple levels of the skin

IPL for acne
Specific wavelengths of light are used to target and destroy acne-causing bacteria that can inflame sebaceous glands and contribute to acne breakouts. Acne scarring can affect both the texture and the colour of skin. This often causes small dents or areas of red or dark spots. Intense pulsed light at different wavelengths can be used to selectively destroy pigmented cells that can cause this uneven pigmentation and dramatically reduce the visibility of acne scars by creating a more uniform, even skin tones. While IPL does not reduce or smooth the actual physical scarring or dents, it can greatly improve their appearance by improving skin tone and eliminating skin tone variations caused by acne scars.
